At long last, Amazon’s October Prime Day event has begun — and as expected, it’s packed with a slew of notable Apple deals. If you don’t want to wait until Black Friday to score a discount, the current promo is a great opportunity to save, as Amazon is offering steep discounts on a variety of last-gen Apple devices. The Apple Watch Series 10, for example, is down to $279, matching the low price we saw in July.
It’s not just older devices on sale, either. Amazon is offering discounts on accessories for the new iPhone Air, as well as current-gen gadgets like the latest iPad Mini. Like the aforementioned base model, they deliver strong noise cancellation and a solid transparency mode, although they’re still not quite on par with Apple’s Pro models. While not a laptop, there’s no denying how good the M4 Mac Mini is — especially on sale for $499 ($100 off) at Amazon and Best Buy. The Apple Pencil Pro is down to $99 ($30 off) at Amazon, Walmart, and Target, which is $10 shy of its best price to date. Unlike Apple’s entry-level USB-C stylus, the Pro model charges wirelessly and offers other advanced capabilities, including Find My support, pressure sensitivity, and a “Barrel Roll” gyroscope that allows you to adjust the angle of your pen or brush strokes with a simple twist. However, compatibility is limited to the latest iPad Pro, iPad Mini, and M2- or M3-based iPad Air models.
You can buy the new Apple iPhone Air Case with MagSafe for $37 ($13 off) at Amazon, which marks a new low price. The translucent, MagSafe-compatible case is designed to protect the 6.5-inch Air from drops and scratches with a polycarbonate frame and a new button design to accommodate the volume and side buttons. It’s also compatible with Apple’s Camera Control feature and includes two built-in connection points for attaching Apple’s Crossbody Strap.
